Bankside Community Space, downstairs from Better Bankside's offices on the corner of Great Guildford Street and Zoar Street, is a local venue for hire with very reasonable rates. Click for the brochure. | Booking form here.
The space is designed to be a resource for all members of the community, from businesses to residents and voluntary groups. The room will seat a maximum of 50 people theatre style, 20 people in a boardroom setup and 30 in a racetrack layout, but can be arranged to suit your group's needs in a variety of formations. The space is very light and airy, suitable for daytime meetings or evening/weekend events, and everything in between. We are available for hire from 8am until 10pm, 7 days a week.
If you need equipment for your event, Better Bankside can provide a data projector and laptop, flipcharts and pens and a range of other stationery. For catering, you can choose from a wide and varied menu from a local supplier, or alternatively bring in your own caterer and make use of the kitchen facilities in the building.Rates are charged on a sliding scale (+VAT at 17.5%)
