The menu, overseen by Head Baker Roy Levy, includes Gail’s favourites, from French Dark and San Francisco sourdoughs, to freshly baked croissants and cinnamon buns, carrot cakes and a selection of daily sandwiches and salads. These can either be enjoyed in store or at your convenience with Gail’s delivery service. All Gail’s products are baked daily and handmade with no artificial additives or preservatives. Their artisan bread is made by hand, using the finest ingredients, skillful bakers, and plenty of time to make the perfect artisan loaf.
The interior of Gail’s Neo-Bankside takes inspiration from the industrial development of the area and the bakery’s philosophy of simplicity. Centred on a communal dining space with an open kitchen, authentic and natural materials such as wood and exposed metal are featured, whilst retaining the building’s original character. Drop lighting illuminates the bakery and generate a warm, relaxed atmosphere alongside the industrialised interiors.
