Robes are looking to get upto speed on using social media before the beginning of their next round of Winter Night Shelter Projects. Could you spare an hour or two to go through the basics of social media with them? sak [at] betterbankside.co.uk (subject: Social%20media%20with%20Robes%20Project) (Contact us to get involved.)

The Robes Project has been providing winter night shelter accommodation for people who are homeless in London for eight years. Church venues across Southwark and Lambeth host the night shelter, which is run by volunteers, from November to April. In 2012-13 Robes made approximately 2450 bed spaces available in 23 venues. Over 400 volunteers were involved in running the shelter - welcoming guests, socialising, cooking, staying overnight and doing laundry.
