Join The Big Pink Bucket Collection 2013
Every year thousands of women hear the devastating news that they have breast cancer.
Bankside charity Breast Cancer Care want to ensure they get the support and information they need, and this year their Big Pink Bucket Collection is particularly aimed at reminding mums across the UK just how special we think they are, including the mums who are greatly missed.
Collections will take place around Mother’s Day on Sunday 10th March in loads of locations across the UK including right here in Bankside. Volunteers are needed to help at London Bridge and Waterloo mainline train stations on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th March respectively.

About Breast Cancer Care
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. Every 10 minutes someone in the UK hears the shocking news that they have breast cancer – that’s nearly 55,000 people a year, including around 400 men. Breast Cancer Care is here for anyone affected by breast cancer. We bring people together, provide information and support, and campaign for improved standards of care. We use our understanding of people's experiences of breast cancer and our clinical expertise in everything we do.
