11th March - BB Community Partners business planning workshop |
In October 2007, at its Tate Modern event, Better Bankside announced its seven 'Community Patrners'. These are organisations running projects which add significant value to the lives of children and young people in the immediate area.
On 11th March, Better Bankside’s CSR theme group will run a full day business planning workshop for trustees and officers of its Community Partners. It will take place at the new Community Space in Bankside 3.
The focus of the event will be upon creating a business plan for a specific piece of project work or for the organisation as a whole. The workshop will be facilitated by Southwark-based Andrew Mitchell.
Better Bankside is now seeking volunteers from the business community who may be willing to accompany one of the Community Partner organisations through the day, sharing the task and advising where appropriate. If you are interested, please contact Peter Newman-Legros at pnl@betterbankside.co.uk.
The seven Community Partner organisations are: Bankside Residents Forum, Bankside Open Spaces Trust, Borough Music School, Southwark Mysteries, Southwark Playhouse, Southwark Theatres Education Partnership and Southwark Young Pilgrims. |
