Better Bankside's Street Genius project came to a spectacular culmination on Monday 29th September with the event to end all events! Ernest and Kerry, our two street geniuses, have been working with local businesses over the last two months to train up their volunteer group and organise a wrap party for all the other street geniuses working with cultural organisations across Southwark and Lambeth.

The party was kindly hosted by Tate Modern in their Level 2 Cafe – a fantastic venue with a great atmosphere which fitted the bill perfectly. The room looked spectacular, decorated with gold fabric and flags from countries around the world. Ernest and Kerry had chosen a cultural theme for the event, serving canapés with an international flavour and asking people to attend dressed either in their national dress or in the colours of their country.
The entertainment went down a storm with fellow street genius AJ performing two really heartfelt spoken word pieces and an incredible dance act from two local young people.
