Demolition of existing buildings and erection of 26 storeys to provide 148 apartments with 1,800sqm of flexible retail space and associated hard and soft landscaping with new routes connecting to the station and a set of “Spanish steps” leading down to St Thomas Street 

 

Project intro

Shard Place is Sellar Property Group’s third phase of development after The Shard and The News Building. It comprises 1,800sqm of retail at the St Thomas Street and London Bridge Street levels and 148 high-quality apartments. The project occupies two existing sites: Fielden House at 28 London Bridge Street and 21-27 St Thomas Street.

 

March Update

Skanska has completed the demolition and piling and have handed over to Erith to construct the basement box, ground floor slab construction and level 1;

Late April / early May Erith plan advance liaison for 3 day continuous pour of raft foundation
