Union Street highway works, installation of Quietway Cycling Scheme Route 14

Works to footways and parking suspensions on Union Street until end of March while Southwark Council and their contractor Conway AECOM install a new Quietway cycling route.

Until the end of March there are works to footways and parking suspensions in place on Union Street while Southwark Council and their contractor Conway AECOM install the new Quietway cycling route 14.

Traffic Management

For works to be carried out safely the carriageway will be cleared of parked vehicles at the locations highlighted on the map and ‘No Waiting’ cones and signs will indicate the extent of any parking restrictions. If a vehicle is obstructing the works the Council may relocate the vehicle.

Working hours are daytime between 8am and 5pm (Monday to Friday) and 8am and 2pm (Saturday).

Works are scheduled as follows, though dates may change because of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
