Tate Modern

Back by popular demand, we are taking another tour of Tate Modern with an expert guide to show us the ropes.

We're lucky enough to have a fabulous selection of artwork on our doorstep at Tate, but modern art can be particularly challenging. Maybe you think it won't be your cup of tea, or maybe you've gone inside and been shocked by the pieces - or even not been sure what to make of it at all.

Join us for an interactive lunchtime tour led by Eve Milner, Bankside resident and London Blue Badge Tourist Guide.  Eve is determined to encourage the timid into our local art gallery, and to make it an enjoyable and entertaining experience. Using simple Q & A, you will develop some tools to help you engage with any piece of art you may come across.

Meet in the foyer between the Terrace Bar and shop on ground level (entrance just off Sumner Street and Holland Street) at 1pm promptly so we have as much time for artworks as possible.
