At Dr Bike sessions, the mechanics will always check:
- General roadworthiness
- Brake pads & cables are functioning properly
- Gears are functioning properly
- Wheels are spinning/aligned correctly
- Tyres well inflated and no indication of any inner tube punctures
Depending how long it takes to complete the above on your bike, the mechanics may be able to carry out additional repairs.
Mechanics will also diagnose and note any serious problems which are too complex/time-intensive to fix at this session and advise what work needs to be done to correct the issue. All participants will receive a feedback sheet outlining the repairs undertaken and work still needed.
If you have had your bike serviced within the last three months, we ask you to let other cyclists go first and wait for a future session. We have a limited number of spaces, so book early to avoid disappointment!
