The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will impact the public transport and road network in certain places at certain times during the Games. For businesses, these events are a huge opportunity - and a major challenge.
The Games is likely to impact staff, deliveries and customers. The Games are fast approaching, with the Olympic Games taking place between 27 July and 12 August and the Paralympic Games from 29 August to 9 September.
To help businesses prepare, Better Bankside and Team London Bridge are working with Transport for London to ensure businesses in the area are aware of the transport impacts the Games will bring and how they can plan and prepare. Businesses concerned about how they might be affected are encouraged to come along to this Olympic briefing to hear about the impacts across London and in Bankside.

“Many people are involved
in the design and delivery
of the Better Bankside
programme. A large number of you
already play a part of the
governance structure, on
the groups that manage the
different themes, and on
the board. Committed
to a Better Bankside, we rely
on your feedback to direct
our efforts. So get involved.”
