Would you like to help young people learn about the world of work and develop the skills they need to build a successful future? Is your company looking to get more involved in the local community?  Do you coordinate your company's Corporate Responsibility or volunteering activities?

If so, then come along to this breakfast networking event on Thursday 6 June at 8.30am-10am at the Bankside Community Space.

You'll get to discover the many different ways that businesses can help raise young people's career aspirations and develop the key skills needed for their future. You'll hear about the benefits of supporting young people and schools, plus how easy it can be to get involved.  There will also be the chance to find out about how your business can get involved with the Bankside Skills Academy this summer.

Speakers include the Vice Principal of the Haberdashers' Aske's Borough Academy, a new local secondary school opening in September 2019 on Southwark Bridge Road.

There will also be time to network with local charities, brokers and schools* to build connections that lead to opportunities for volunteering, skills sharing and other ways to support.

RSVP today to make the most of the opportunities on your doorstep.

*priority will be given to charities, brokers and schools that are focused on delivering education and employability-related activities, preferably serving young people living and/or studying in Southwark.
