Osteopathy is a primary health care system, complementary to other medical practices. It is suitable for almost anyone and can contribute to alleviating a wide range of conditions. Osteopaths primarily work through the neuro-musculo-skeletal system, mostly on muscles and joints, using holistic and patient centered approaches.

Treatment at the BSO’s clinical centre is provided by senior BSO degree students, supervised by tutors who are fully qualified osteopaths. The centre is open Monday to Friday, and new patients can normally be seen within 24-48 hours.

Your first appointment will last approximately one hour and 20 minutes. During this consultation, a medical case history for you will be recorded and a physical examination conducted. Any follow up appointments necessary will last approximately 40 minutes.

When you come for treatment: please bring with you, to each appointment, your Buzz Card. To claim treatment at £15 per visit, please show your Buzz Card to the BSO receptionist who books you in, before your payment is taken.
