Better Bankside exists to improve the quality of the area and enhance the competitiveness of its businesses. It is a non-profit company owned, funded and led by employers in the Bankside area of London.

Better Bankside is the third Business Improvement District in the UK, the second in London and the first south of the river.  Better Bankside's members are the 400+ companies in the BID area who pay its annual 'levy'. Many of these are heavily involved in the governance of the company.
