Step 1 - Sign up to the Bankside Master Travel Plan
 
The requirements are the same for both small and large companies - more details here and to signup online here.
 
Step 2 - Start your own Travel Plan
 
In order to complete your travel plan, your company will require a travel survey, and a site assessment.
 
In line with Bankside Master Travel Plan requirements, a full survey will be required to be undertaken every 4 years, and a shorter annual travel survey. The next full survey will be in 2010. However, it is envisaged that businesses will need to undertake their own survey in their travel plan process prior to this. A template has been provided in the downloads section and Better Bankside requests all businesses undertaking surveys to use the template and provide data collected to help monitor progress. Templates for the annual survey and site assessment are also available in the download section.
 
Step 3 - Setting up of travel plan
 
Bankside have adapted the Seltrans Travel Plan guidance for creating your own travel plan. Go to the download section to obtain a copy.
