Funded and delivered on behalf of the London Development Agency, the London Innovation Placement Programme (LIPP) is designed to help small to medium size businesses across London become more competitive by undertaking innovative practical projects.

Benefiting from the fresh perspective of talented and ambitious students, graduates and postgraduates you could join those companies who have had a new design, secured orders of £500,000, increased their turnover by 20% or reduced their costs by 30%.

Placements cost £250 plus VAT per week and last from 4-12 weeks. From this LIPP will pay your student a weekly training allowance of £220 per week, ensuring you get the most talented student and they are rewarded for the hard work they do. The current offer entitles you to £500 towards the cost of your placement.*

Students are short-listed to meet your specific business requirements and LIPP will provide candidates from all academic disciplines. All projects receive full support, including student induction and mentoring. And if your project could benefit from further academic consultancy you can also apply for a grant of up to £2,500 for this as part of the scheme.

* There is only a limited amount of funding available so please do get in touch as soon as possible to take advantage of the offer. The rebate is payable on completion of the placement. Projects taking advantage of the academic support subsidy would not be eligible for a £500 subsidy as well. Longer term placements are also available.
