Motability Operations sponsor a workshop for people with disabilities... |
Motability Operations,the company that manages the Motability car scheme for disabled people, is sponsoring a workshop specifically for people with disabilities at this year’s Bankside Frost Fair, London’s annual FREE winter festival.
The workshop, run by Cooltan Arts, a local organisation for people with mental distress, will allow participants to make their very own 2008 collage calendars. The workshop will take place from
11am to
12.30pm in the Bankside Pavilion on Saturday 15th December at the Bankside Frost Fair and will be on a first come, first served basis. Southwark Council spokesperson Lisa Holmes said:
“We are delighted to have the support of local company Motability Operations that has enabled us to widen our range of workshops. Other workshops that showcases what Bankside has to offer include Vinopolis wine-tasting, New Peckham Varieties dance workshop, story-telling by costumed actors from the Golden Hinde and a hands-on children’s session on herbal medicines by the Old Operating Theatre Museum & Herb Garret.”
