Better Bankside has decided to appoint First Mile to provide a recycling service for businesses in the Business Improvement District. First Mile currently provides a recycling service to a number of individual businesses in the area. The company comes with glowing references and has a good and proven track record in setting up and delivering services similar to the one being commissioned by Better Bankside.

 

Throughout April we will be working closely with First Mile to market and mobilise the contract. The aim of the service is to achieve the considerable benefits that will arise from centralised purchasing and to pass these on to our members. By working with one supplier we also aim to reduce the number of vehicles entering the BID with the purpose of collecting and removing waste material.
