Once again Better Bankside attended a travel trade shows under the banner of the New London Partnership (consisting of ourselves, London Bridge BID, Southwark Council and TourEast London) to ensure that tour operators, the press, tour guides, coach operators, group travel organisers and the many other facets of the travel trade are aware of what Bankside has to offer.

 

Organised by the Essex Tourism Association, the Essex Tourism and Leisure Show was held this year at Brentwood Centre on Thursday 21st February. Approximately 1000 people visited the show, 550 of these were group travel organisers including sports and social clubs, women's institutes and retirement groups) and slightly less for the General Public. Our stand once again proved hugely popular.

 

As well as distributing Bankside area maps and guides and brochures and promotional material from our array of attractions, we also handed out our Bankside Travel Trade Manual which contains all you need to know about the area and what it has to offer and increased interest in attending a trip to Bankside to find out what the area has in store for 2008.
