JOY Offers a £5 Gift Voucher
Those in need of retail therapy in Bankside can now spend their lunch time in JOY, which sells clothes as well as cards and gifts, plus everyone entering the store before 30th September and showing a pass or business card will receive a £5 gift voucher to spend on all women’s and menswear only.
Did You Know? To celebrate its opening JOY promised free outfits to the first 25 customers wearing only underwear... At least fifty people of all ages wearing swimwear or no more than bra and pants
braved a chilly wind the queue at the Sumner Street door!
All-day Amano Opens Second Bankside Store
Continental-style all-day café, Amano, has opened its second store on Bankside. Open sixteen hours a day, seven days a week, Amano cafés change menus and ambience through the day. The second store extends Amano’s capacity for all-day trading, with internal seating for 75 and a casual evening pizza and bar proposition to complement their popular lunchtime trade in deli sandwiches, salads, soups and pasta.
Did You Know? “Amano” means “by hand” and the principle of applying hand-made production to fast-foods like sandwiches and pizza is at the heart of the concept. Amano outlets bake their own bread and pizza dough, from “scratch”, on the premises.
Crussh Juice Bar and Starbucks have also opened stores in the Blue Fin Building.
