New BB staff members
Imagep>Jogitha Jesudasan and Lauren Probert are the newest members of the Better Bankside team. Jogitha is the new administration officer. Lauren is undertaking a student placement under the Shell STEP scheme. Read more about them below.

Jogitha Jesudasan

Where do you come from?

I spent my childhood in Sri Lanka, my teenage years in Norway and I now live in London.

What were you doing before you joined Better Bankside?

I worked for Nationwide Building Society as a customer advisor.

What will you be doing for Better Bankside?

I am the administration officer. I will be your initial contact when you call Better Bankside. I will also be responsible for co-ordinating the levy. I am involved with every aspect of Better Bankside’s work on some level.

Interest/Hobbies

I enjoy going to the gym, eating, going out with my friends, music, parties, travelling and chilling out.

What do you like about the Bankside area?

It’s very clean. I like the Borough Market [especially on a Friday] and taking walks along the Riverside.

Lauren Probert

Where do you come from?

I am originally from North Yorkshire, but I now live in Buckinghamshire.

What were you doing before you joined Better Bankside?

I am a student at Durham University, studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics.

What will you be doing for Better Bankside?

I am on a 10 week placement, during which I will be carrying out a project to research and to improve the provision of the Better Bankside Business Club.

Interests/Hobbies:

I like music, knitting, graphic design, photography, being involved in the Student Union, and going out with my friends.

What do you like about the area?

I like the Tate Modern, and the streets that are free of cars. I also like the Borough Market, especially cheese.
