New Logo for Pubwatch SE1
Look out for the new Pubwatch SE1 logo which will be appearing in member pubs over the next few weeks. Staff within these premises will receive bespoke training from the Metropolitan Police on things such as being alert to the latest scams, looking out for criminals, warning customers to look after their possessions and alerting other members to incidents and suspicious behaviour on their premises.

Pubwatch SE1 brings together pubs, bars and other licensed premises in Bankside with the aim of combating crime, particularly the theft of handbags, wallets and mobile phones. The membership of Pubwatch SE1 is now 30 strong and members meet every 6 weeks to discuss common issues, share information and develop ways of combating crime.

Pubwatch SE1 will be developing common ways of dealing with suspected criminals as well as violence and anti social behaviour. One weapon in the armoury will be to issue banning orders that could result in bans not just from one but from all premises in the Pubwatch SE1 area.
