To ease the 'Winter Blues' a wide selection of cocktails will steal back a bit of sunshine from the Caribbean to brighten up your day in Clinks. Bit now it's time for a Bankside Cosmopolitan or a Southbank Mai Tai and here's how to prepare them...
Bankside Cosmopolitan
- 25ml Absolute Peach or Citron Vodka
- 25ml Cointreau
- 50ml Cranberry juice
- dash of lime juice
Grab a shaker and fill it up halfway with ice. Pour it over with the Vodka, Cointreau and the cranberry juice. Shake well then serve in a Martini glass. Add a dash of lime juice on top and garnish with a slice of lime and orange.
South Bank Mai Tai
- 50ml Mt Gay Rum
- 50ml Orange juice
- 50lm Pineapple juice
- a float of Morgan Rum
- a dash or Orange liqueur
- a splash of Amaretto
Take a glass and start to top it up one by one with the ingredients. Start with the Mt Gay Rum, then pour over with the orange juice, after that comes the pineapple juice. Give it a twist with a float of dark rum, a dash of orange liqueur and a splash of Amaretto. |
