One instructor, ten local employees...

On 30th July, ten local employees, including myself and a colleague, turned up to the first open-air body combat class held by trainer Andy Lee outside The Bankside Health Club.   Forty-five minutes of kicks, jabs and shuffles made it a gruelling but fun way to start the day and having the class in the open-air was a nice change, even for the class' usual participants.  We did attract a little audience who from afar were watching us sweat it out to pumping music but they soon got bored when they saw how commited everyone was to the class.

At the end of the class, local outlet Crussh! rewarded participants with free samples of their appropriate Fat Burner Smoothie and Energiser Juice. The Fat Burner smoothie is a blend of 98% fat free probiotic yoghurt, mixed berries, apple juice, banana and the Fat Burner booster (a natural mixture of green teas). The Energiser juice is a classic mix of freshly pressed apple, carrot & ginger.

Following this first session, Better Bankside has arranged free access to the Club's changing rooms and showers so you don't have to go back into the office all sweaty.  We ask however all newcomers to arrive 15 minutes prior to taking part to sign in at reception and complete a pre readiness health questionnaire.

Comments included:
" Fantastic! Great trainer and perfect before-work exercise."
"Having class out on the streets is exhilirating - Keep it up!"
"Great for first thing in the morning."
"Fabulous - great energy and a laugh!"
So if this sounds like your kind of fun, get your keep-fit outfits out and see you next Wednesday morning at 7:45am for an 8am start!

If this seems like too much hard work, you can enjoy Bankside Nights, a series of live music events every Wednesday evening from 5.30pm til 8.30pm until 10th September. Or why not enter a team for the BB Boules Tournament in September?
