Ranger of the Month: Charles Thompson
 
 
Better Bankside’s Rangers are patrolling the area between 8am and 8pm Monday to Saturday and between 8am and 4pm on Sundays. You can read about their duties in the attached leaflet.

In the fourth of a regular feature, we feature a brief profile of one of our Rangers. This month it is Charles Thompson.

Q: Where did you work before you started working for Better Bankside?
A: For the same security company at Canary Wharf.

Q: What do you like best about the job?
A: The fresh air.

Q: What has been your hardest challenge so far?
A: To get Transport for London to be more proactive on issues of highways and lighting on red routes.
 
Q: What is your favourite place in Bankside?
A: The Bankside Riverside.

Q: What is your favourite thing to do when you are not working?
A: Playing golf.

Q: Tell me something interesting about you?
A: My golf handicap is 18.

Q: What’s the worst thing you have ever done?
A: Gone back to work for a company I had worked for before.

Q: How would you describe your perfect evening?
A: Good company, a nice dinner and good wine.

Q: What would you be doing if you weren’t a ranger?
A: Playing golf.
