What: The Unilever Series: Doris Salcedo
Don't miss Tate Modern's dramatic new installation. Columbian artist Doris Salcedo has broken open the floor of the gallery with an extraordinary crack that stretches the length of the Turbine Hall. This spectacular installation, titled Shibboleth, is the first work in The Unilever Series to intervene directly in the fabric of the Turbine Hall. Slicing the concrete floor in half, the installation dramatically shifts our perception of the Turbine Hall's architecture and questions its status as a grand, monumental exhibition space.
