Women Like Us, an award-winning social enterprise aimed at smoothing the transition for mothers back into work and helping businesses find experienced and reliable part-time employees, launched its expansion into South London at an event at Ofcom on 9th November.
Already enjoying success in North and Central London, the move into South London is the next step in a proposed national roll out. Harriet Harman MP was the guest speaker. It is estimated that there are potentially 500,000 women nationally who would take up employment if conditions allowed.
