Fill in our Employee Travel Survey and help us achieve positive changes to travel in Bankside

Every few years, Better Bankside conducts an Employee Travel Survey. It helps us to make plans for improving the travel services and infrastructure that is available to people in the area. Over the last few years, we have used the information provided in a number of different ways. For example to supply a variety of services for cyclists including secure cycle parking, bike maintenance, and cleaning facilities. We have also consulted on a number of infrastructure changes in the area and provided statistics to Network Rail to help them plan for changes to the network.

The results will help us provide improved travel services and inform our interventions and advocacy over the next years. Previously we have used information from employee travel surveys to manage cycling services for local employees, consult on changes to cycle and road networks in the area, work with businesses to reduce freight footprints, and much more. Those who complete the survey will have the chance to enter a fantastic prize draw with prizes on offer from local businesses.

One prize a day will be drawn from Monday 21st September and include:

  • Dinner for two at Hawksmoor
  • Free coffee for a week at Lantana
  • Dinner at Gordon Ramsay’s Union Street Café
  • Treat up to four friends to lunch or dinner at Honest Burgers
  • Bread Ahead bakery voucher
  • £40 voucher at Vapiano
  • Free lunch for two at Tossed
  • Two pairs of puncture resistant high-quality bikes tyres
  • Cycle goodie pack
  • ..and more to come

The results will be analysed and discussed by the Better Bankside Sustainable Travel Group (BBSTG), by participating in the survey you are welcome to this information and attend the BBSTG.
