Bethwin Road is a busy adventure playground in Camberwell established since 1976. It is managed by a committee of volunteers and receives funding for 2 part-time playworker posts from Southwark council, with the committee raising the running costs from trusts and charities.

 

About the Opportunity This organisation needs more active committee members who are able to attend regular meetings to help manage the playground. Roles include: staff support & supervision, fund-rasising, playground planning & development.etc. Professionals with financial and management skills particulary welcomed.

 

Time commitment The committeee meet at the playground every 6 weeks for a 2 - 3 hour meeting and volunteers are encouraged to drop into the playground at least once in between meetings.
