Camberwell Arts provide opportunities for the local community to participate in creative activities. Along with partners, Camberwell College of Art, University of the Arts London and The South London Gallery, the organisation is pivotal in programming and project managing the Camberwell Arts Festival that takes place annually in June, coinciding with the college degree shows. www.camberwellarts.org.uk

 

About the Opportunity: The charity needs a qualified accountant to look over prepared accounts and create a report to sign them off at the end of the financial year. Ideally this person would also be prepared to sit on the trustee board of Camberwell Arts and offer financial advice throughout the year.

 

Time Commitment: Flexible. Accounts need to be reviewed quarterly and an annual report written. It would also be helpful if the volunteer were able to assist Camberwell Arts in financial planning and budgeting. Time permitting; the accountant would be welcome on the board of trustees (around 6 evening meetings a year).

 

Location: SE5 But this role could be done from home/work.
