 Mental Fight Club is a creative group in Southwark, which arises from the experience of severe mental illness. We are open to everyone and seek at all our events and projects to inspire - through music, visual art, film, performance - a sense of connectedness both in ourselves and to one another.
About the opportunity: We are looking for someone to help us with our accountancy and financial management. We currently have a turnover of between £20 - 30,000 per annum, almost entirely from grants or donations. We employ a bookkeeper and a Finance Group involving the chair and the Treasurer oversee all financial processes. Our immediate priority is to find someone who would be able to prepare our end of year accounts. In the longer-term, some assistance with oversight and administration of finances may be very helpful to the Finance Group, although this would require some knowledge of the voluntary/charitable sector.
Location: Flexible – could be done from work or home.
Time commitment: Flexible/ad hoc
