Peckham Shed Theatre Company - Trustees
Established in 2004 by Chickenshed, Peckham Shed is now part of an ever - growing number of independent ‘Sheds' working by the Chickenshed inclusive creative method.

Peckham Shed aims to provide an environment of inclusiveness and support which allows all young people to get involved in the creation and production of performance arts. Through structured activities involving music, drama and movement our members develop performing arts skills, gain a sense of achievement and discover new abilities through positive and empowering experiences.

Peckham Shed has both a Children's and a Youth Theatre and is open to all young people in Peckham and the surrounding areas between the ages of 7 and 16 who attend either mainstream' or 'special' schools. www.chickenshed.co.uk

About the Opportunity: Peckham Shed is currently looking to diversify the skills set represented within their board of trustees. They are keen to recruit new board members with strong business skills including accountancy, fundraising, development, marketing and administration. As a trustee your role will be that of critical friend to the paid staff and volunteer practitioners; your skills will be applied to help the general running of the company and support the work of our artistic team. You will also have an advocacy role to play within Peckham and the wider community in Southwark in order to support our organisational development.

Time Commitment: Four meetings per year, as well as any performances or networking events that may arise
