Southwark Home Care is a not-for-profit registered charity.  They provide care and support in the home, to elderly and disabled people in Southwark, to allow them to continue to live independently in the community. 
 
About the Opportunity: Southwark Home Care is seeking new members for their Board of Trustees to help them improve and expand the support that they offer. Trustees set the strategic direction of SHC’s service and provide an overview of their operational activities.  They are looking for people with an interest in supporting people and who can bring their own life \ work skills to our organisation. They are a multicultural organisation working in a multicultural environment and would be happy to receive applications from people from different backgrounds, and with different experiences, that appreciate our core values.
 
Time Commitment: Trustees meet quarterly, although other meetings may arise
