StreetVibes Youth (SVY) is based in south London and provides creative inspiration, opportunities, skills, support and direction for young people, with a particular focus on vulnerable, ‘at risk’ and disengaged young people, including young offenders and young people in care.
StreetVibes Youth draws upon innovative and pioneering teaching methods to engage, motivate and inspire young people to be enterprising, productive and creative. The organisation has successfully supported over 400 young people across London in the last year and it comprises a fully operational recording studio, training centre, media lab and production house in SE1 and SE13.
About the Opportunity Street Vibes Youth is looking for volunteers to join a highly motivated and skilled Board of Directors who work with an executive Director and management team to oversee Street Vibes Youth and its activities. They currently require Board members with skills in: - finance or accountancy, legal issues, employment law or HR and educational issues or public sector, especially 14-19 educational provision.
