United St Saviour's - Trustees |
United St Saviour’s Charity is an ancient Southwark charity established in 1541 which provides sheltered housing to elderly people in need, and gives grants to local voluntary groups for the relief of poverty. The Charity is governed by a board of trustees. The Charity‘s endowment is comprised of property and investments, overseen by trustees with professional help.
About the Opportunity: United St Saviour's is seeking to appoint new trustees. Trustees meet regularly, and are unpaid, but find their role is both fun and rewarding, especially when they meet with residents of the sheltered housing scheme, which is located in Purley. Trustees must reside or work in the Parliamentary constituency of Southwark and Bermondsey or close by. Applications from women and members of minority ethnic communities are especially welcome.
Time Commitment: Monthly meetings
