Women of Africa - Web Designer

Women of Africa advocates for and mediates between African families, professionals and the educational system to reduce the rate of children and young adults going into care or being excluded from formal education

Through cultural interpretation they empower parents to better nurture, protect and support their children in the 21st century.

They inform vulnerable users in matters they find difficult to understand and deal with. Working with Trident and educational institutions across London we provide work placements for teenagers, thus providing them with an opportunity to improve their confidence and understanding of their role in the world of work and society. womenofafrika.org

About the Opportunity: Women of Africa is looking for a web designer to re-design their website, creating a site that is exciting and inviting to visitors. A key requirement is that it is easy for members of the organisation to update themselves so some kind of training session will be needed for employees and volunteers following the re-design.

Time Commitment: Flexible – an initial chunk of time will need to be spent on the re-design but following that the commitment should be very small.
