Young Enterprise – Team Programme Volunteer |
Young Enterprise is the UK’s leading business and enterprise education charity, working with young people from 4-24 years old on a variety of business and enterprise programmes to promote ‘learning by doing’. The businesses and volunteers that support Young Enterprise take an active role in building a better-motivated, educated and enterprising workforce, at the same time making a real difference to the existing lives and future potential of young people who live and attend school in their area.
About the Opportunity: The Team Programme is Specifically designed for students with different levels of ability and learning styles, aged 15 +. Students, with your help, set up and run their own company, building skills in teamwork, and with professional support take on responsibilities for the management, production, sales, marketing and financial running of a real company.
The wealth of business knowledge and experience you have gained is highly valued. The entrepreneurs of tomorrow can benefit from the life lessons you have to offer today.
This unique experience culminates in an illustrious celebration event in mid March where students and advisors can showcase their achievements.
Time Commitment: Flexible – but usually 1-2 hours a month during the school term
Location: Young Enterprise is looking for volunteers for the following local schools:
The Charter School, SE24
The Academy at Peckham, SE15
Sacred Heart, SE5
Kingsdale Secondary, SE21
