Thames Festival
Better Bankside took part in the 2008 Mayor's Thames Festival flagship event - Feast on the Bridge, a feast held on Southwark Bridge, which, for the first time in history, was closed to traffic for the day.
Better Bankside had an information stand at the main southern entrance to the Feast on the Bridge with a banner promoting Bankside as a district of gastronomic delights.
