Symmons seminar & Prospero House launch among first events
Better Bankside's business events diary is starting to grow, with two great events in May. Come to a free seminar for Better Bankside/Bankside Traders Association (BTA) members at top property consultant, Edward Symmons on 19th May; and - on 11th May - come to the opening of Prospero House (detail of design above), a fantastic new venue on Borough High Street run by BTA member etc venues. Better Bankside intends to offer regular opportunities for its member businesses and their employees to access new or existing bars, restaurants, venues and attractions, to taste the fare and to check out the facilities. The first such event takes place on 11th May from 6pm, when Bankside Traders Association member etc. venues will be launching its newest venue at Prospero House, 241 Borough High Street. E-mail invitations will be issued shortly to Better Bankside and BTA members, and will also be downloadable from the Better Bankside website. On 19th May, Sandra Clarke - ratings expert at leading property consultant Edward Symmons - will be leading a seminar on ratings issues. With 2005 valuations now in operation, many businesses have seen huge increases in their rates bills. Come to the seminar to find out how rates work, how you can ensure that your building has been correctly valued, and how to reduce your bills. The seminar will run from 6pm to 7.30pm at a venue to be announced. Again, Better Bankside and BTA member companies will receive an invitation.
