Lost in Bankside? Just follow the (new) signs

Lost tourists are a feature of the area, particularly when they stray away from the Riverwalk.
Now Southwark Council, in association with Land Securities, is installing some 23 new signs
similar to that pictured above on London Bridge.

The signs will direct visitors to local attractions, transport hubs, toilets and community facilities,
and are being placed at the following locations:

• Junction of Stoney Street/Borough High Street
• Junction of Bedale Street/Borough High Street
• Junction of Cathedral Street/Montague Close
• Junction of Clink Street/Stoney Street
• Junction of New Globe Walk/Park Street
• Junction of Park Street/Sumner Street
• Outside Bankside 123, Sumner Street
• Outside Bankside 123, Southwark Street
• Junction of Southwark Street/Sumner Street
• Junction of Sumner Street/Holland Street
• Outside Tate Modern on riverwalk
• Junction of Southwark Street/Great Guildford Street
• Southwark Bridge Road
• Flat Iron Square
• Junction of Union Street/Borough High Street
• Borough Tube
• Marshalsea Road
• Junction of Union Street/Great Guildford Street
• Southwark Tube/Union Street
• Junction of Bermondsey Street/Crucifix Lane
• Junction of St Thomas Street/Weston Street
• Junction of St Thomas Street/Stainer Street
• Junction of Angel Place/Borough High Street
