AGM sees reappointment of existing board

Better Bankside's AGM took place at the Mercure Hotel on 28th February. The meeting consisted largely of a report back Œ by Peter Williams and Donald Hyslop Œ on a 'satisfactory' first year of activity in the life of the Business Improvement District. Since a full financial year had not been completed, accounts were not presented. The existing board members all stood for re-election, and are listed below. Chris Evans (pictured above) has subsequently taken up the remaining board place in the small company category. Chris is a barrister and solicitor whose firm, Izod Evans, is based at the Hop Exchange in Southwark Street. The company provides business legal advice to SMEs in and around London and has operated in Bankside since 1991, and currently has 6 employees.
