Come to our event, hosted by Lloyds TSB. In 2004 the CBI's Digby Jones called for employers to include community involvement as a criteria in recruitment, promotion and pay decisions.
And a significant number of employers are now encouraging their employees to volunteer, even offering time off in lieu. They see volunteering as an opportunity for employees to practise their existing skills as well as to develop new ones.
If you've ever thought that yours is this sort of company, come along to our event on 8th June. There you'll not only find out 'how it's done', but have the opportunity to hear from some businesses who have already done it. And Better Bankside will be offering you the opportunity to get a taste of volunteering by participating in your own one-day team 'challenge' at a substantially reduced rate.
