Annual General Meeting & Annual Review Catch up on progress, elect the new board. Better Bankside's first Annual General Meeting will take place at the Mercure Hotel on Tuesday 28th February. Since being set up on 1st April 2005 Better Bankside has been developing its role, aiming to make Bankside an even better place in which to do business, live in and visit. Its achievements to date are documented in the first Annual Review, available as a PDF to download. Around 50 businesses are already involved in the governance of the company through attendance at the board and the sub-groups which manage the different themes. The board has taken the view that the best way for it to be sure that the company's expenditure reflects businesses' priorities is by engaging them directly in the decision making.
