Penzance Pirates board real ship

From 20th July to 3rd September, Ocean Theatre Company will present an open-air production of The Pirates of Penzance aboard Bankside’s favourite boat, The Golden Hinde.

Ocean Theatre Company’s summer musical follows on from the success of Cosi fan Tutte directed by the company’s award winning artistic director Andrew Miller.

As the action unfolds amongst the audience the pirates will invite all patrons to join their band in order to woo the girls, fight the police, and win the day.

Performances take place Thursday to Sunday at 7pm. Tickets, priced at £15, £12 and £10 can be obtained in person from the Golden Hinde shop in Clink Street, from the Box Office on 0870 4466 826 or online at www.oceantheatre.com. Due to the nature of the ship, children under 10 are not recommended to attend.
