Bikes, Breakfasts & the Bard - 15th June

photo by G Neale (Bike Week 2004)

Bike Week 2005 runs from 11th - 20th June. Southwark Cyclists invites those who work in Bankside and beyond to take part in its packed programme of activities - most notably the Bike Week Breakfast at Shakespeare's Globe on 15th June.

After last year's tremendously successful event at Tate Modern, bike groups from all over London are expected to converge on Southwark's 'blue riband' event. There'll be speakers, celebrities, 'Dr Bike' and - of course - good value food courtesy of Shakespeare's Globe. Have your photo taken with hundreds of other cyclists in that famous 'Wooden "O"'. The event kicks off at 7am and you can be away by 9.30am at the latest. For more details call Barry Mason on 07905 889005.

For details of all the other Southwark Cyclists' Bike Week events, visit their special web page at http://www.southwarkcyclists.org.uk/social.htm#bikeweek.
