Plus free bike servicing, free snacks, free massages and free health advice… Southwark Council's Bankside Information Day is an annual fixture. Featuring stalls run by a variety of local groups, it seeks to inform residents, workers and visitors what is happening in the area. This year's Information Day takes place on Friday - 2nd September - in Southwark Cathedral's south churchyard, between 11am and 6pm. find it? Could it be better? Could it be healthier? Walking for 30 minutes
uses 150 calories, cycling for 30 minutes uses 180 calories, while driving
for 30 minutes uses only 40 calories. The Healthy Travel stall is an initiative tied in to Better Bankside's involvement with 'Optimum 2', an EU - funded project to encourage business participation in travel planning. Read about it here.
