A hand-up for Bankside's homeless
Thank you to everyone who supported the Christmas 2011 campaign.
Together at Christmas offers a hand-up for Bankside's homeless. In 2011 we supported the Robes Project fundraiser 'sleepout' in Southwark Cathedral, helped local employees volunteer at homeless projects and coordinated local businesses to collect thousands of items which were wrapped by volunteers and delivered to over 500 local homeless and vulnerably housed people.
Better Bankside distributed gifts to homeless projects The Manna Centre,The Robes Project, St Mungo's, Gateway Foyer and Manor Place, as well as older people's housing Lucy Brown House and Hopton's Charity.
Together at Christmas 2011 was supported by Zipcar, Canary Wharf Contractors, Land Securities and Iris.
